Everyone needs a good night’s sleep – especially children, in order for them to develop healthily. Here are some important points to pay attention to.

A good room climate

Enough fresh air, avoiding CO2 rebreathing, i.e. breathing in stale air again, no overheating due to heat accumulation, not too much dampness and humidity – these are all important factors for a good room climate.

First baby mattress, then children’s mattress

For sustainable sleeping comfort, our mattresses are designed with a baby side and a junior side in order to adapt to the increasing weight and can be turned over when the child weighs approx. 9 to 11 kg. The ideal addition to this is a point-elastic slatted base. A firmer tread edge all around the mattress ensures more safety.

High air flow

Both the mattress and the topper need to provide high air permeability and breathability to ensure optimal air circulation. This is the best protection against mites and mould.

Hygienic covers

Modern functional covers can absorb sufficient liquid and prevent it from soaking into the mattress core. They should be made of pollutant-free materials and be washable … and should be changed regularly.

The high-quality cover AIRWELL® Sensitive Double Cloth.

The cover is a perfect synthesis of nature and high-tech:
It is made of dense and extremely hard-wearing mixed ticking fabric, the fibre core of which is washed out in a special process. This creates a hollow space in the fibre, which gives the fabric important properties for ventilation within the baby’s cot:

Excellent moisture absorption and fast drying over a wide area with low heat loss
Temperature balancing and at the same time very breathable
All properties are retained even after numerous washing cycles at 95 °C
The AIRWELL® Sensitive Double Cloth is manufactured without chemical treatment and is not bleached

The cover is characterised by:

Particularly light, puffy and soft due to the multi-layered structure of the double cloth
Outer fabric very soft and skin-friendly due to 100 % natural cotton on the surface in direct contact with the skin, quilted with cotton wool and breathable cover fleece on the inside
Upper fabric, filling and cover fleece (of the quilted compound) are tested for harmful substances and certified. Suitable for allergy sufferers due to perfect hygiene, as the cover is washable at 95 °C
The cover can be easily divided and removed thanks to the surrounding zip
Standard with a particularly air-permeable climate band, allowing the cover to be turned to the baby or junior side, depending on the age of the child
